Seasonal notice: for stays between 1 November and 30 April, if flooding (or a significant risk of it) affects safe access to or occupation of the cabin, the owners may cancel at short notice. In that event all monies paid for the stay are refunded in full, but other costs such as travel or alternative accommodation cannot be covered. By booking within this period you accept this seasonal risk.

Calendar key
Changeover Saturday: stays run Saturday to Saturday. Check-out is by 10:00 am and check-in is from 3:00 pm. On a changeover Saturday one guest leaves in the morning and the next stay can begin that afternoon. Dates shown with a line through them are already booked or blocked and can't be selected.

CCTV Notice
For the security of guests and the property, exterior CCTV cameras operate at Herons Rest. Cameras monitor external areas only. There are no cameras inside the accommodation.
Electricity Use
For stays between 1 September and 30 March, £20 of electricity credit is included with your booking. If this credit is used during your stay, additional electricity can be purchased by topping up the prepayment meter.
For stays between 31 March and 31 August, electricity is included in the rental price.
This seasonal arrangement helps us to continue offering competitive rental prices while energy costs remain high, while allowing guests to manage their own additional electricity use during the colder months.
Dogs
A maximum of one small, well-behaved dog is permitted at Herons Rest. Please keep dogs off the beds and furniture, and never leave them alone in the cabin.
Fishing
Herons Rest has three private fishing pegs for the exclusive use of guests. Guests who wish to fish must hold any legally required Environment Agency rod licence and follow the fishing rules provided at the property.

A £100 deposit is paid securely by card now to confirm your booking. The remaining balance of £650 is due before arrival.
